How to Curb Cell Phone Addiction

Cell phone addiction is a real problem for many children and teens today. With the constant bombardment of notifications, texts, and social media, it can be hard for them to put down their phones and focus on other activities. But it’s important for parents to help their children break this addiction and find healthier ways to spend their time.

The first step is to set boundaries. Set a time when they are not allowed to use their phones, such as during meals, family time, or when they should be doing their homework. Explain why it is important to take a break from their phones and make sure they understand that these boundaries are not meant to punish them, but to help them stay focused and productive.
