
Our Instructors & Staff Members
Our Certified Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the art of Taekwondo and other martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors.
Through extensive testing, certification and tournament level competition, our staff has attained mastery in the martial arts and now enjoy sharing their skills and passing it on to their students.
Marty Dunkerson
(Master Instructor/3rd Dan)
Instructor Marty has been involved in martial arts since the age of 19. He received his first degree black belt at the age of 22 and has since been cross training in taekwondo, hapkido, combat hapkido and kickboxing. His love of teaching children led him to open a school with his wife at the age of 33. His dedication to the martial arts keeps him searching for new techniques and methods to pass on to his students. He has three children, who are usually found running around the school somewhere! Beth Dunkerson
(Program Director/Senior Instructor/1st Dan)
Instructor Beth has been in the martial arts on and off since the age of 14. She has studied taekwondo, wado-ryu and combat hapkido. She has a bachelor of arts in History from Middle Tennessee State University as well as a minor in education. With strong teaching skills under her belt she plans to motivate the students through high energy classes. She runs her children like the school, with love but discipline. Email Instructor Beth
Randy "Palito" Walls
(Assistant Instructor/1st Dan)
Instructor Randy has a 1st degree black belt in Tang Soo Do and a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has been studying martial arts for 10 years. He is a full time student and takes martial arts lessons 4-5 days a week on top of his teaching schedule. This young man is a huge asset to the school. Email Instructor Randy
Ms. Shelly Pratt & Ms. Esther
(After School/Summer Camp Program Leader)
Ms. Shelly has been a friend of Instructor Beth since high school. Her two boys, Michael and DJ are students as the school as well. Her daughter Kristina, who is a senior in high school, helps with the after school program.
Miss Esther is bi-lingual in Spanish & English and has 2 children who come to work with her. Her family is well established in the Murfreesboro area with a car repair shop. The after school kids have fun with crafts, games, music and education.
