Our Instructors & Staff Members
Our Certified Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the art of Taekwondo and other martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors.

Through extensive testing, certification and tournament level competition, our staff has attained mastery in the martial arts and now enjoy sharing their skills and passing it on to their students.

Marty Dunkerson
(Master Instructor/3rd Dan)
Instructor Marty has been involved in martial arts since the age of 19. He received his first degree black belt at the age of 22 and has since been cross training in taekwondo, hapkido, combat hapkido and kickboxing. His love of teaching children led him to open a school with his wife at the age of 33. His dedication to the martial arts keeps him searching for new techniques and methods to pass on to his students. He has three children, who are usually found running around the school somewhere!

Jeremy Gasser
(Chief Instructor/4th Dan)
Instructor Gasser grew up in Smyrna, TN, but has worked the last 13 years in Louisville, KY under Grandmaster Hwang. He has a 4th degree black belt in Taekwondo, a 1st degree black belt in Judo and a 1st degree black belt in Hapkido. He is proficient in various weapons including the nunchaku, sword and kamas. He is used to working with large numbers of students and has enabled us to make most of our classes avaiable to whole families.

Beth Dunkerson
(Senior Instructor/1st Dan)
Instructor Beth has been in the martial arts on and off since the age of 14. She has studied taekwondo, wado-ryu and combat hapkido. She has a bachelor of arts in History from Middle Tennessee State University as well as a minor in education. With strong teaching skills under her belt she plans to motivate the students through high energy classes. She runs her children like the school, with love but discipline.

Joe Ferro
(Instructor/1st Dan Goju Style)
Instructor Joe has come to our school from the great state of Florida. He and his wife Kathy are transplanting here with their two children, Joey and Natasha.

Elane Dickson
(After School/Summer Camp Program Leader)
Elane is a high energy, coffee drinking machine who knows how to make the kids tow the line! With 45 years of child rearing experience she knows every trick in the book! Children have a good time in a safe environment.

Kelly Horack
(Tournament Director/Demo Team Fundraiser)
Kelly is the proud mother of Kayley Horack, a junior leader at the school. She is wonderful at coming up with great projects and keeping the place organized.
